Start your day by celebrating sunrise on the Sea Terrace, a stone’s throw away from the shimmering blue Indian Ocean . 

Take a 5 minute early morning walk amidst the indigenous garden of proteas, ericas and Cape Fynbos and watch the waves catch the morning sun.

Enjoy your breakfast around the 8-seater table while spotting whales, birds, dolphins and seals in the Bay.  You may even have an extra guest join you - one of the local Chacma Baboons fondly known as Eric!

Spend the day exploring the scenic beauty and activities on Cape Point Route, hike in the surrounding mountains or scuba dive from the beach just 200m down the road.  Alternatively simply relax in the sun by lounging around on the terrace.

Take an afternoon siesta, or curl up with a book on the cozy sofa in the sea facing Living Area, which leads out onto the open terrace.

Welcome that evening cocktail from the Bar Area as you gaze at the sky changing colour over the False Bay mountains at sundown. Luxuriate on the holiday decisions of a terrace BBQ or kitchen confidential dinner with a glass of your favourite South African wine.

For your culinary urges, Castle Rock offers a gourmet kitchen stocked with microwave, gas stove, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery & glasses to serve up to 10 people. The open plan Dining Area is a space to share and reflect on the day amongst family and friends.

Once satiated, you can wind down the evening with a game of pool in the upstairs mezzanine Games Room or settle in with a DVD or satellite TV.
